5 Jan 27, 2010 I needed to purchase some good quality roller shades. Their ready in stock are a vinyl laminated fiberglass, which is heavy, room darkening, and sturdy.These were very reasonably priced.($22-35) I believe there were 3 (or 4) white/variations of white.The lighting in the shop makes the shades appear darker than in bright light. Scalloped with fringe in same colors are also available. Most of the time they can cut them to size for you while you wait (some staff were not yet trained to cut.)If you needed a different color shade they can be ordered, but it gets a bit outrageous for a roller pull down shade! ($80+ w/hem).The owner was willing to work with me and create a "custom" shade with a unique hem, and trim which I supplied, for less. I was very happy with the results.The shades come on a solid metal roller bar, and the bottom bar (for lifting) is made of wood (not plastic).It is a nice little shop, with fun decorative accents, and several really cute ready-made window treatments.
